Affectus arises from the desire to transform our apples into something more — into flavor, into memory, into celebration. Simple, authentic, natural. You know that moment when you taste something and realize it takes you back to a place? For us, that place is called Armamar — between valleys and mountains, where apple trees grow with flavor and history.
Affectus was born from the desire to transform this origin into a drink that respects what the land gives us, that celebrates who we are, and that keeps up with the pace of those looking for more than just a drink — looking for an experience.
We realized that, despite being a producer of excellent apples in Portugal, there was a lack of cider that was true to its origins. We didn’t want to just create another drink: we wanted to create a cider with soul. A cider that respects the natural flavor of the fruit, without exaggeration, and that aligns with a more conscious and light lifestyle.
Affectus is just that. It's a toast to authenticity. To the pure flavor of the mountain. To simplicity done well.
It is also our commitment to sustainability, to small producers, and to those who believe that drinking well can also mean living better.
